An early spring birding trip covering almost west to east Bhutan for 17 days, we would be birding in different altitude zones ranging from 500 meters up to over 3898 meters. Birding in different vegetations like the sup-tropical, cool and warm broadleaved forest including various dominant tree species which makes up the whole forest cover for example, pine forest, bamboo forest, spruce forest and few more. the main focuses in this trip was the Black Necked Crane (migratory bird, Endangered), Wards Trogon(Near Threatened), Pallas’s Fish Eagle(Endangered), Ibisbill, Rufous Necked Hornbill,( Endangered) Blood Pheasant, Satry Tragopan, Himalayan Monal and the Critically Endangered White Bellied Heron.
